We began planning for the short film, by looking over many aspects of story lines and lighting as shown previously in my blog. We began to develop a range of stories that we could possibly use to base our short film on.
With many quick ideas produced, which I will post up later, one was chosen over the others,
The story with our film was that of an Author and his room mate. The author began writing a novel for his university project, and as he wrote his novel, it merged the fantasy world with the real world. And everything that happened to his main character, happened to his room mate, confused his room mate decided to ignore these strange happenings, until finally the worlds merged bringing her and the story to life and her possible doom!?
That was the basics of the story that we firther developed into a story that progressed from start to finish with a smooth transaction, more or less.
With the story line of our film set. and decided on we began to look into film posters and film magazines to look at the layouts and formats used on them, to help us to get an idea of what we needed to include in ours.
